Coincidentally I started studying politics, which besides physics, was the most abstract faculty I could have ever imagined to study. I have passed all the exams this year and started thinking of a topic for my master's thesis.

Finally the decision was made. I thought of going back to my fav place in Europe and write about the Catalan's struggle for independence. There were no written sources in Polish so I needed to gather information somewhere else.

Why not doing an internship in the very source - I thought - La Assemblea Nacional Catalana? And so I am, thanks to the EU, working for ANC International Press Department, in one of the hottest times in Catalonia's history...and doing a really rapid course in Catalan language.

I was given an opportunity to experience the biggest demonstration in Europe's history from the inside.

Where Breathing Starts

Szukałam dzisiaj fortepianu w Krakowie i znalazłam go za jakąś szybą.

Zapukałam w szybę i otworzyła mi Pani (80 lat).
Od razu zaczeła wypytywać mnie o to czy znam autorów obrazów na ścianach, o moje pochodzenie i strofować za niewiedzę historyczną. Kiedy ogarniałam szok, ona już robiła w kuchni herbatę i Jedzenie.

Rozmawiałyśmy kilka godzin, mówiła jak przeżyła dwie wojny i opowiadała o podróżach i ludziach, wciąż dając mi jakieś rady i strofując, znowu, za niewiedzę historyczną.
Powiedziała że wczoraj był u niej jakiś pisarz 7 lat starszy od niej który grał na tym fortepianie i że Andrzej Wajda mieszka tu jak sie przejdzie przez patio.

Fortepian był z 1879 roku i grałam a Pani słuchała.

Stwierdziła, że mogę przychodzic.
